The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No. 1 and 2 to count the service of 11 years and 07 months rendered by the petitioner with respondents No. 3 and 4 as qualifying service for the purpose of re-fixation of pension and further, a writ in the nature of mandamus is prayed for directing respondents No. 1 to 4 to release the arrears of pension and other consequential benefits after granting the benefit of past service, along with interest @ 12% per annum from the date the amount became due till its actual realization.
