Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0154 dated 27.09.2018 under Sections 406, 420, 506 and 120-B IPC (Section 13 of the Travel Professional Regulation Act, 2014 added later on), registered at Police Station Bhogpur, District Jalandhar Rural.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per the FIR, which was got registered by complainant Karnail Chand, the allegations against the present petitioner is that he has cheated the complainant for `8 lakhs on the pretext of sending his son to Canada via Dubai.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and VINEET GULATI 2019.05.10 10:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh serious allegations against the petitioner and in view of the fact that

CRM No.M-21053 of 2019 -2petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
