1. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of private respondent No.5.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali), to get the representation dated 10.04.2023 (Annexure P-3) examined qua the limited extent of the MOHAN SINGH 2023.05.17 16:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-4439-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:071321 alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon.
