*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. An additional affidavit of the Director General of Police, Punjab, has been filed, same is taken on record, stating that the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural), has initiated a departmental proceeding against the delinquent officials vide office order dated 16.07.2021. Learned State counsel has stated that a regular departmental inquiry has been initiated and the same shall be completed within a period of two months.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the petition is disposed of, however, the respondents shall be liable to place on record the inquiry report on the file of the Court within the aforesaid time. The office is directed to put the report on the judicial side.
