Learned State counsel on instructions states that the present writ petition deserves to be dismissed at the outset as the petitioner had not participated in the auction held on 18.06.2025. He further states that the petitioner deposited the money on 21.06.2025 only because on the earlier date when the auction was slated for 13.06.2025 he had shown interest and had access to the portal. He seeks some time to file an affidavit in this regard. 2.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his appeal, which is already pending before respondent No.2 - Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Department, Punjab.
