The petitioner prays for bail pending trial in FIR No.0071 dated 29.10.2016 under Sections 323/406/498A/506/377/180 IPC registered at Police station Women Police Station, Panchkula.

As per the report from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, the parties have amicably resolved their dispute. Petitioner Ankit Gupta as well as the complainant Ms. Shilpi Gupta are present in Court. They are duly identified by SI Jaswinder Kaur, Police Station Women, Panchkula. CRM No.M-44894 of 2016 [2] The petitioner as well as the complainant, who are present in Court, submit that the terms and conditions of the settlement have been reduced into writing on 27.03.2017. Copy of the settlement/agreement is attached with this file.

The complainant Ms. Shilpi Gupta submits that the matter has been resolved amicably between the parties and she has no objection in case the petitioner is afforded the concession of bail pending trial. The parties have decided to part ways. It is further submitted that in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, a petition for quashing of the abovesaid FIR No.0071 dated 29.10.2016 shall be filed by the parties. The petitioner in this case was admitted to interim bail for a period of two months vide order dated 31.01.2017. During the interregnum, the parties have amicably resolved their entire dispute.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above but without commenting upon or expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition filed by Ankit Gupta is allowed. The interim bail granted to the petitioner pursuant to order dated 31.01.2017 shall enure pending trial subject to his furnishing fresh bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.
