Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to respondents No. 5 to 7 by this Court vide order dated 2.12.2014 in FIR No. 9 dated 10.1.2014 under Section 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Women, Ludhiana.

Heard.

On 2.12.2014, following order was passed by this Court:- "Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.9 dated 10.01.2014, under Sections 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Women, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

While issuing notice of motion, following order was

-2passed by this Court on 12.11.2014:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioners have been falsely roped in the instant case by levelling false allegations by complainantJaspreet Kaur, who is daughter-in-law of petitioner No.1. Harmeet Singh-husband of complainant passed away in the year 2011 whereas father-in-law of complainant also breathed his last in the month of January 2011. Even prior to the death of her husband, complainant was living with her parents. Moreover, allegations are levelled against the petitioners after about three years of the death of her husband that too against her mother-in-law, sister-inlaw and husband of sister-in-law. Notice of motion for 02.12.2014.

In the meanwhile, petitioners are ordered to be released on pre-arrest bail, in the event of arrest at the satisfaction of arresting officer subject to provisions envisaged under section 438(2) Cr.P.C." Learned State counsel who is assisted by Head Cosntbale Jasbir Singh has submitted that the petitioners have joined investigation and are not required for further investigation.

Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioners vide order dated 12.11.2014 is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly"

Thus, a perusal of the above order reveals that the

-3interim bail granted to the private respondents, was confirmed as the learned State counsel, on instructions from Head Constable Jasbir Singh, had made a statement that the private respondents had joined investigation and were not required for further investigation.

No ground for interference is made out.

Dismissed.
