RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to protect the life, liberty and property of the petitioner from respondent No.5 and its members. Heard.
The grouse raised in this petition by the petitioner is quite genuine. The alleged menace of the truck union is prevailing in the State since last many decades with the active assistance of police authorities and civil administration, which, in the present scenario of globalization, requires to be deprecated with severe hands for overall development and progress of the country in a right perspective. Therefore, present petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur - respondent No.2 to look into representation dated 14.11.2017 (Annexure P-1) moved by this petitioner and decide the same in accordance with law.
