As per the same, an amicable settlement has been reached between the parties. It has been settled between the parties that the Insurance Company, shall pay an amount of Rs.1,30,000/-, over and above the amount already awarded by learned Tribunal. Also, it has been agreed that the said amount shall be paid within a period of 60 days from the date of order, passed by the court.
In view of the settlement, so reached, between the parties, the present appeal is hereby allowed and the claimants, who are the sons and daughters of the deceased, Surjit Kaur, are hereby awarded a sum of Rs.1,30,000/-, over and above the amount already awarded by learned Sonu 2025.11.19 09:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
FAO-3947-2019 Tribunal. The said amount shall be paid equally to all the appellants, in the form of cheques, within a period of 60 days from today onwards. In the eventuality of any default, on the part of the Insurance Company, in making the payment, within a period of 60 days, it shall be liable to the penal interest @ 6% per annum, till realization.
