This is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 67 dated 25.12.2014 under Sections 498-A IPC at Police Station Women Cell, District Bathinda.

Learned State counsel at the outset submits that offence is only under section 498-A IPC and not under section 406 IPC. Under the circumstances, this petition is disposed of and petitioner is relegated to remedy of filing appropriate representation in terms of judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar & anr., 2014(3) RCR (Crl.) 527.
