HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J By filing present petition, the petitioner had impugned judgment dated 30.09.2011 passed by the learned District & Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar dismissing his appeal filed against the judgment/order of sentence dated 14.07.2009 passed by learned JMIC, Nawanshahr convicting and sentencing him as under: Offence under Section Sentence awarded 466 read with Section 120-B IPC To undergo RI for three years and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/-. In default of payment of fine to further undergo RI for a period of 30 days.

Vide order dated 31.05.2012, this Court while admitting the petition suspended the sentence of the petitioner during the pendency of revision petition.

An application bearing Crl.M.No.33516 of 2021 has been filed by wife of the petitioner, which is duly accompanied by her affidavit. It is stated that the petitioner has since died on 09.06.2021. Death Certificate of the petitioner is annexed herewith as A.1. In view thereof, present revision petition stands abated qua the petitioner on account of his death.
