(Oral) Present petition is for release of petitioner on regular bail in FIR No.160 dated 10.05.2016, under Sections 392, 323 and 452 IPC (offences punishable under Sections 342, 352, 354, 394, 454, 457 and 458 IPC were added later on), registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar City.

On the last date of hearing, custody certificate was filed by learned State counsel in which the details of other FIRs registered against the petitioner were given.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from the investigating officer, has informed that in the present case all the recoveries have been effected from the petitioner. Moreover, there are total 07 witnesses, who are to be examined.

CRM-M-44995 of 2016 (O&M) -2I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and with their able assistance gone through the material available on record. The petitioner was arrested on 21.07.2016. Since then, he is in judicial custody and no useful purpose would be served to further detain him in jail. The final conclusion of trial will take a long time. In view of above facts, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail on his furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Judge/Duty Magistrate, Amritsar.

Needless to mention that, nothing observed here-in-above, would reflect, on merits in the trial of the main case, in any manner.
