This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the nature of mandamus with a prayer for issuing direction to official respondents No. 3 to 5 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner which is in danger in the hands of private respondent No. 6 to 11 and to decide the representation dated 18.03.2026. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-8) to respondent No.4- Senior Superintendent of Police, Rural, District Jalandhar but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.4- Senior Superintendent of Police, Rural, District Jalandhar to look into his representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4- Senior Superintendent of Police, Rural, District Jalandhar to consider and decide the representation representation dated 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-8) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
