This petition has been filed under Sections 528/482 of BNSS/ Cr.P.C for issuance of directions to the official respondents No. 2 to 4 to initiate appropriate legal action against the official respondent No 5 for illegally harassing and humiliating the petitioner and his family on account of taking illegal possession of their agricultural land and handover the same to the opposite party and direct the official respondents not to harass and humiliate the petitioner and his family and provide adequate security to the petitioner and his family.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 04.04.2026 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar, District Rupnagar, Punjab but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent RENU RAWAT 2026.04.07 17.45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar, District Rupnagar, Punjab to consider and decide the representation dated 04.04.2026 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
