***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) Report has been received from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. As per the same, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. Copy of settlement/agreement dated 17.03.2026, has also been annexed with the said report, which is taken on record. However, none has made appearance on behalf of the applicant today.

Perusal of the settlement/agreement reveals that the parties have agreed for parting ways by seeking divorce through mutual consent, by way of filing of petition under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act, which is to be filed on or before 17.04.2026. The terms of separation are detailed in paragraph No.9 of the settlement, which is duly signed by both the parties as well as their respective counsel and the mediator concerned. TA-523-2025 In view of the said settlement, counsel for the respondent gives an undertaking that the respondent shall withdraw the petition under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act, pending before the courts at SAS Nagar, by way of filing of an application, within a period of seven days from today onwards.

In view of the undertaking given by the counsel for the respondent, in consonance with the amicable settlement, so reached, the present transfer application is hereby disposed of, as having become infructuous.

However, the respondent shall remain bound by the statement, so given by his counsel today.
