The petitioners along with Devinder @ Raju, non petitioner had attacked Anil Kumar. Petitioner No.2 had punched the complainant, whereas the other co-accused had pushed him in the car. Injuries were also inflicted on the person of Navjot Kumar, who tried to intervene to save the complainant. A perusal of the file indicates that the grievous injury has been attributed to Devinder @ Raju, who is still in custody. Challan has already been presented. Trial is likely to take a long time. Without expression of any opinion on merits of the case, the petition is allowed and the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court. The petitioners will not in any manner, brow beat or threaten the witnesses. In case of any such eventuality, this order will be liable to be cancelled.
