RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to pandemic Covid-19.

Through instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner-Angrej Singh @ Kaka, in case FIR No. 341 dated 16.06.2020 registered under Section 20 of the NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act and Section 120-B IPC added later on) at Police Station Samalkha Panipat, District Panipat. According to the prosecution, petitioner was apprehended with conscious possession of 21 Kgs 550 grams of Ganja Patti, without any permit or licence.

CRM-M-21977-2020 -2In view of above, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of case, the petitioner is granted interim bail subject to furnishing personal bonds and two sureties of Rs.2.00 lakh, to the satisfaction of Special Court concerned only, till receipt of the FSL report. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
