(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition while submitting that the petitioner would be moving a fresh representation to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, exclusively praying therein for the protection of his life and liberty only and he further prays that the said respondent be directed to look into and take appropriate action on the same within some specific time frame. Learned State counsel has no objection to the above-said submission/prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Resultantly, the petition in hand is hereby dismissed for having been withdrawn, with the observations that in case, the petitioner moves any fresh representation to respondent No.2 specifically restricting his prayer therein to the protection of his life and liberty only, then the said respondent SEEMA SHARMA 2021.08.12 16:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh
