**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks regular bail in FIR No. 841 dated 02.10.2019 under Sections 120-B, 201, 307, 326, 506/34 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station City Karnal, District Karnal.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was driving the motorcycle whereas co-accused Naveen was the pillion rider, who had allegedly fired a shot at the injured and has been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 23.4.2021; that there is a delay of 13 days in lodging the present FIR and that the petitioner has been in custody since 15.11.2019.
On the other learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of regular bail.

CRM-M No. 26660 of 2021 -2granted regular bail by this Court on 23.4.2021. The petitioner has been in custody since 15.11.2019. The trial will take time to conclude because of Covid-19 pandemic. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner behind the bars.
Without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
