ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in FIR No.204 dated 16.09.2018, registered under Section 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Sangat, District Bathinda.

Counsel for the State, assisted by Dr. Nanak Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda has filed the affidavit and as per the affidavit, a departmental enquiry has been initiated against ASI Dilbag Singh, the Investigating Officer of the case, for not making compliance of the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in "Mohan Lal vs State of Punjab" passed in Criminal Appeal No.1880 of 2011, decided on 16.08.2018 and the enquiry has been entrusted to the Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Bathinda.
