ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking protection of their life and liberty on the premise that petitioner No.1 has performed marriage with petitioner No.2 against the wishes of her parents and other family members and the petitioners are apprehending threat to their life and liberty at their instance. In pursuance to the order dated 16.12.2016 passed by this Court, a short reply by way of affidavit of Krishan Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra has been filed and it is stated in the reply that police has recorded the statements of respondents No.4 to 6 who have stated that their daughter - Anuradha i.e. petitioner No.1 has solemnized the marriage with petitioner No.2 and they have no objection to this marriage.

In view of the reply filed by the State, no further action is required.

Disposed of accordingly. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach this Court in case they still feel any threat to their life and liberty.
