CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J. (ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for quashing of impugned action of respondent authorities in not granting arrears of pay since the deemed date of appointment by ignoring the fact that the petitioners have been deprived of the status of government employee due to pendency of litigation and not due to fault of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2-Director Secondary Education Haryana, Plot No.1B, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula to consider the representation dated 16.09.2018 (Annexure P-8) within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.2-Director Secondary Education Haryana, Plot No.1B, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula to consider the representation dated 16.09.2018 (Annexure P-8) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking order thereon, failing which respondent No.2 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. CWP No.12206 of 2019 (O&M) -2imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners to run from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of non-compliance of directions issued by this Court.
