For having been found in possession of 100 grams of intoxicating powder containing Dipheoxylate salt, the petitioner has been in custody since 7.10.2015 after enjoying interim bail w.e.f. 7.8.2014. On the instructions of HC Sarwan Singh it has been informed that all the prosecution witnesses stand examined in the present case. In view of the said circumstances, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to expeditiously dispose of the trial. In case the trial is not concluded within a period of two months, after the next date of hearing fixed before the trial court, the trial court shall release the petitioner on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to its satisfaction.
