Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for quashing Complaint No. 187 of 2016 dated 19.09.2016 (Annexure P-1) titled as "Gagandeep Kaur Vs. Manpreet Singh and others", under Sections 354, 342, 506, 323, 120-B read with Section 34 IPC pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Patiala; summoning order dated 17.08.2017 (Annexure P-3) vide which the petitioners were summoned to face trial under Sections 342 and 354 read with Section 34 IPC and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 22.03.2018 (Annexure P-3). At the outset, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 2-Gagandeep Kaur (petitioner No. 3 in connected CRM-M-449272018), stated at Bar that the matter has been compromised in between the RISHU KATARIA 2018.11.28 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-45368-2018 (O&M) -2parties and he has no objection, in acceptance of this petition; quashing of Complaint No. 187 of 2016 dated 19.09.2016 (Annexure P-1) titled as "Gagandeep Kaur Vs. Manpreet Singh and others"; summoning order dated 17.08.2017 (Annexure P-3) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom qua the petitioners, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-4).

Considering no objection of respondent No. 2-complainant in quashing the aforesaid complaint and summoning order and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony and peace in relations between the parties, this petition is allowed.

Consequently, the aforesaid Complaint No. 187 of 2016 dated 19.09.2016 (Annexure P-1) titled as "Gagandeep Kaur Vs. Manpreet Singh and others"; summoning order dated 17.08.2017 (Annexure P-3) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, qua the petitioners, are quashed, subject to payment of costs of `10,000/-, out of which `3,000/- shall be deposited with the Bar Association, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and `7,000/- with the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund, within a period of three weeks' from today, failing which this petition shall be deemed to be dismissed. List on 15.12.2018, for production of receipt regarding deposit of costs.
