(ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to transfer investigation in case FIR No.593 dated 23.11.2014 registered under Sections 307, 34 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act at Police Station Sector 34, Chandigarh to Crime Branch, Chandigarh. Learned counsel for UT Chandigarh, on instructions from SI Vijay Kumar, submits that instant petition has rendered infructuous in view of filing of the cancellation report in Court on 04.02.2019. Next date before the Court is 10.07.2019.
In view of above, instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to raise protest against the cancellation report before learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandigarh. (RAMENDRA JAIN) May 23, 2019 JUDGE R.S.
