Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that son of petitioner No.1 and daughter of respondents No.4 and 5 have eloped and their whereabouts are not known to the petitioners. At the instance of private respondents, the police is harassing the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 26.1.2017 (Annexure P-1) made by the petitioners.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib to look into the representation Annexure P-1 made by petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
