**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to implement order dated 15.11.2019 (Annexure P-14), letter dated 12.10.2019 (Annexure P-13) and letter dated 28.06.2021 (Annexure P-16) vide which the respondents have undertaken to construct entry and exit points, MCW and Service Roads etc. on Panipat-Jalandhar Highway at Bullepur Allour and Khanna District Ludhiana within a time bound frame.

-2On 15.07.2021, learned counsel for respondents No.2 and 3 was directed to seek instructions regarding the status of filing report of DPR Consultant as mentioned in letter/reply of NHAI dared 28.06.2021 (Annexure P-16). Affidavit of Veerendra Singh, General Manager (Tech) has been filed. Para no.5 of the affidavit reads as under:- "5.

That in the light of the foregoing, it is most humbly deposed herein that the feasibility and design of the Entry/Exit qua the present matter in dispute by the Petitioner, will be finalized within a period of 3 months.

Subsequently, the construction of the said Entry/Exit points will be undertaken as per the prescribed procedure i.e. after the finalization of the designs, the Bid will be invited and the Contract will be allocated for construction to the selective bidder. The whole process will take around a period of 8 to 10 months."

Perusal of the aforesaid affidavit would show that the competent authority i.e. General Manager (Technical) has prayed for 8 to 10 months time from the date of filing of affidavit dated 28.06.2021 for doing the needful.

-3At this stage, both the parties are ad idem that this petition be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to get the same revived in case needful is not done by the competent authority within the time prayed for.

Disposed of with the liberty aforesaid.
