As per allegations in the FIR lodged by the Drug Inspector from the Medical Store of the petitioner 107 strips of Alprazolam were seized without corresponding invoice.

It was contended that the petitioner is authorised dealer in drugs and although at the time of seizures bills were not available however, the same were subsequently produced which have been illegally rejected as manipulated one and it would be a matter of trial. CRM-M 454/2016 Vide order dated 8.1.2016 notice of motion was issued,interim protection was granted with the condition that petitioner shall join investigation.

At the time of hearing today,learned State counsel on instructions submits that petitioner has joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required. In view of the above, order dated 8.1.2016 granting interim pre-arrest bail is made absolute.
