Mr. Ankur Kaushik, Advocate, for the petitioner. TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA, J. (ORAL) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to step up the petitioner's pay at par with his junior, namely Vedpal Hooda, along with all consequential benefits. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts the prayer in the petition to grant of step up of pay and the consequential refixation only for the purpose of retiral benefits. He submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent no.2. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case the said respondent is directed to decide his pending legal notice, dated 18.01.2026, Annexure P-6, in a specified period.

Mr. Amit Sahni, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, assisted by Mr. Harmanjit Singh Johal, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and submits that the pending legal notice, dated 18.01.2026, will be decided by respondent no.2-Director, Department of Secondary Education, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within three months.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof. 6.
