Prayer in this criminal writ petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5.

Reply by way of affidavit of Rajeev Miglani, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jagadhri, Yamuna Nagar, has been filed in the Court today which is taken on record.

The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
