(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition is for quashing of FIR No.188 dated 25.09.2020 under Sections 406/420 of the IPC registered at Police Station Jodhewal, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 25.11.2020 (Annexure P-2). 2.

Mr. B.S. Toor, Advocate, has entered appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and filed memorandum of appearance, which is taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2complainant has at the outset opposed the prayer and submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner with respect to a compromise having been affected between the parties. It has been submitted by learned counsel for respondent No.2-complainant that no compromise is in existence as on date and he thus, vehemently opposed the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.
