RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Instant petition has been filed for quashing of the order dated 17.01.2019 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, in case FIR No.9, dated 17.09.2016, under Sections 406, 420-B, 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station NRI, Jagraon, Ludhiana, and for cancellation of bail granted to respondent No.2.

At the outset, learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Joginderpal, submits that FIR in question has already been quashed by this Court vide order dated 14.07.2021 passed in CRM-M-33553-2020 (Davinder Singh Kooner and others Versus State of Punjab and others) and hence, the present petition has become infructuous and may be dismissed as such.
