(ORAL) This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail to Aman Bhateja in case FIR No.18 dated 12.10.2016 under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Women Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural). This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 20.12.2016 :- "Notice of motion, returnable for 27.03.2017. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and if he is sought to be arrested, he shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting/investigating officer subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 sub section 2 clauses (i)(ii) and (iii) of the Code of Criminal Procedure." This Court on the last date of hearing i.e. 21.7.
2017 was pleased to pass the following :- "It is submitted that though there is a compromise that has been arrived at between the parties, the petitioner herein has not handed over the registration papers of the motorcycle that was bought in his name by the father of the girl towards dowry. Counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the said papers would be handed over to the Investigating Officer.
Let the petitioner appear before the Investigating Officer on Satyawan 2017.09.27 16:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
CRM-M-45451-2016 -228.07.2017 for doing the needful. The said papers be handed over to the complainant/father of the complainant. It is also informed that the petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act has been filed the same is listed for 12.09.2017 for its second motion.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and has complied with the order dated 21.07.2017.
Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Raghbir Singh, confirms the aforesaid fact. Varinderpal Rajoria, father of the complainant-respondent No.2, who is present in the Court and has been identified by ASI Raghbir Singh, also confirms the factum of compromise and compliance of order dated 21.07.2017 by the petitioner. He further submits that he has no objection if the bail of the petitioner is confirmed. Since the petitioner has joined the investigation and compromise has been effected between the parties, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 20.12.2016 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 27.09.2017 (JAISHREE THAKUR) Satyawan JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes.
