REKHA MITTAL, J. (Oral) There does not appear to be any possibility of settlement between the parties, at present.

However, counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation in compliance with interim bail granted by this Court vide order dated 07.01.2016 and he is ready to face the proceedings, in accordance with law. Counsel for respondent No.2/complainant, on the contrary, has urged that two rings of gold weighing 02 tolas in all, one given to the petitioner and the other belonging to the complainant are yet to be recovered.

In response, counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is not in possession of any ring belonging to the complainant. However, he agrees that the petitioner shall deposit Mohd. Yakub 2017.02.17 10:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-44513 of 2015 Rs.25,000/- in the Registry towards price of ring claimed by the complainant and the same may be paid to the complainant subject to outcome of the litigation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim bail granted to the petitioner is made absolute subject to the following conditions:- (i) He shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required;

(ii) He shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer; (iii) He shall not leave India without the previous permission of the Court; and (iv) The petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs.25,000/- towards price of one ring claimed by the complainant to be hers' in the Registry of the Court within a period of 10 days and the same shall be released in favour of the complainant subject to outcome of the litigation.
