This petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for the issuance of appropriate direction upon the official respondents to transfer the investigation of FIR No.43 dated 09.03.2025, registered under Section 69 BNS, at Police Station Samrala, Police District Khanna to an independent and impartial investigating agency, by constituting a Special Investigating Team headed by a senior officer not connected with District Patiala. 2.
At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed the representation dated 05.03.2026 (Annexure P-2) before respondent No.2 raising her grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to the ITHLESH KUMAR 2026.04.10 15:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

At the asking of the Court, Ms. Guramrit Kaur, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4-State and submits that the needful will be done in due course. Let a complete set of the paper-book be supplied to her during the course of the day. 5.
In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner expeditiously and within a time bound manner, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.
