*** AMAN CHAUDHARY, J. (ORAL) [1] The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for the issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to decide the representations of the petitioner dated 17.09.2013, 12.08.2016, 20.03.2017 & 25.06.2018 (Annexures P-6 to P-9).

[2] Learned counsel for the respondent-State referring to reply dated 18.08.2022 submits that the representation of the petitioner had been considered and retiral benefits i.e. gratuity and pension have been credited to his account.

[3] In view of the above, the substantive relief having already been granted, the present petition has become rendered infructuous. However, in case any grouse still survives, the petitioner may file a representation within four weeks, which shall be decided by the respondents expeditiously.
