*** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. Status report in the form of short affidavit by Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, SBS Nagar, Nawanshahr has been filed. Report by Tehsildar, Nawanshahr duly forwarded by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nawanshahr has been attached with the affidavit. As per that report the Tehsildar along with Labour Enforcement Officer, District Child Protection Officer, Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, ASI Police Station Mukandpur had gone to the spot and recorded joint statements of labourers present there, who stated that they were putting up at that place of their free will and they did not have any complaint against the owner. As per report, complainant Anuj son of Ravindra had already left the spot of his free will. In the report it has been stated that persons present at the brick kiln were not found to be kept as bonded labourers and no case of bonded labour was made out.
