Learned State counsel on instructions from Mangal Singh, Senior Assistant, Department of Industries and Commerce, Punjab states that during pendency of the present petition, Ranjit Singh at No.133 of the Seniority List, being blind, who fell in the category of handicap, therefore, was promoted vide order dated 07.07.2024 against Roster point 40 on the principle of Seniority-cummerit, while the petitioner would be considered against the next roster point 70. 2.

The aforesaid satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Disposed of accordingly.
