M.M.S. BEDI, J (ORAL) For having been found in possession of 115 gms. of intoxicating powder containing alprazolam, the petitioner has been in custody for the last one year and ten months. The contents are marginally higher that the commercial quantity prescribed. It has been informed that out of 8 prosecution witnesses, 7 stand already examined.

In view of said circumstance, this petition is disposed of with a direction that in case the trial is not concluded within a period of three months from today, the trial Court shall release the petitioner on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to its satisfaction.
