(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.119 dated 20.09.2018 registered under Sections 341, 324, 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC, Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 and lateron added Section 326 IPC at Police Station Jhunir, District Mansa. According to the prosecution, petitioner as a member of unlawful assembly of 10/12 persons in the morning of 20.9.2018 put a rope in the neck of the complainant and thereafter his accomplice tried to drag the complainant in the house of co-accused Satnam Singh. Prior to putting rope in the neck by petitioner, his accomplice had caused injuries to the complainant out of which injury No.1 was declared grievous. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner has falsely been named after three days of registration of the FIR. Present case is a counter-blast to the FIR registered by the accused party RAVINDER SINGH 2019.01.09 15:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Considering seriousness of offence committed by the petitioner and his accomplice, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
