**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5. Notice of motion to respondents No. 1 to 4-State only. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Amit Mehta, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had disowned his son namely Gurcharan Singh, who is the driver by profession and started living with one Kajal-respondent No. 5, who is a police informer. He further submits that since now the whereabouts of Gurcharan Singh are not know and Kajal-respondent No. 5 has made a false and frivolous complaint against the petitioner at CIA Staff, Jagraon whereas the petitioner has been residing at Moga.

redressal of his grievance which has not been decided yet and he would be satisfied if the said representation is ordered to be decided within a stipulated time.

Keeping in view the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural)-respondent No. 3 to decided the representation (Annexure P-3), moved by the petitioner within one month after receiving the copy of the order, in accordance with law.
