KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Case has been heard through Video Conferencing in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the previous writ petition filed by the petitioners was disposed of by this Court with liberty to them to approach the competent authorities with their grievance, who shall look into the same, keeping in view the specific provisions of law as well as the decision of the Division Bench of this Court reported in 2019(4) Law Herald 2847, Court on its own motion Vs. Union of India and others. The grievance of the petitioners is that no action was taken by the concerned authority on the basis of the aforesaid direction of this Court. It is further contended that another representation (Annexure P-6) dated 10.07.2020 has already been moved by the petitioners to the concerned authorities to look into the matter but no action has been taken so far in this regard. Notice of motion.

CWP-11552-2020 -2Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he would be satisfied if necessary direction is given to the concerned authorities to decide representation (Annexure P-6) dated 10.07.2020 in a time bound manner, in accordance with law. The State counsel has no objection if such a direction is given.

Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-6) dated 10.07.2020 of the petitioners by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law within 30 days from today. If need be, the concerned authority, i.e., respondent No.2 can also give opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners as well as opposite parties.
