**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.98 dated 29.11.2016 under Sections 323/406/420/498-A of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Phase-8, SAS Nagar Mohali.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that interim bail was allowed by this Court vide order dated 21.12.2016, on the basis of which the petitioner has joined the investigation. It is also submitted that the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and the settlement has been arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to which Section 13-B petition under the Hindu Marriage Act for mutual divorce has been filed.
Learned counsel for the respondent-State confirms the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation.
