The present civil writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay/reimburse the expenses on medical treatment incurred at Baghi Hospital Ferozepur and Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana which have approved by the authorities along with interest @ 12% per annum from the date of approval till its actual payment. Further, to release leave travelling allowance for the year 2024, 2025 which became due in January, 2026 along with interest @ 12% per annum from the date said amount became due till its actual payment.

At the outset, learned counsel for respondent No.3 submits that all admissible dues of the petitioner shall be released within a period of four months, as the majority of the property tax is expected to be deposited in the month of September.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, at this stage, he is satisfied with the undertaking given by learned counsel for respondent No.3. 4.

In view of the above, the present civil writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to release all admissible dues to the petitioner, in terms of the claim raised in the present petition, on or before 31.08.2026.
