RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Salinder Singh, Police Station Sadar, Gurdaspur, submits that the matter has been enquired into. Statements of the petitioners have been recorded and they have stated that they are no more facing any threat perception at the hands of private respondents, because of which they do not need any kind of protection. He further submits that in this view of the matter, no further orders are called for and the present petition may be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
