***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) Mr. Munish Puri and Mr. Harsh Thakur, Advocates, have made appearance on behalf of respondent and filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record.
At this stage, counsel for the respondent submits that amicable settlement has been reached between the parties and the petition under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act, has already been filed, but the statement of first motion, has yet not been recorded. However, he gives an undertaking that the respondent shall be withdrawing the petition for divorce, on the basis of the statement recorded in the petition under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act. In view of the undertaking so given by the counsel for the respondent, counsel for the applicant, at this stage, submits that he does not want to pursue with the present application and the same be dismissed as withdrawn.
Ordered accordingly.
