R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in FIR No. 165 dated 10.11.2014 for offences under Sections 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Division No. 2, Jalandhar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was a dispute of business transaction.
The challan has since been presented on completion of investigation. The case is fixed before the trial Court for hearing on the question of charge. The petitioner is in custody since 11.11.2014 and it will take sometime in conclusion of the trial. The offences are triable by Magistrate.
In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant petition is allowed and the petitioner be admitted to bail on furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
Allowed in the above terms.
