(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioners vide FIR No.141 dated 14.10.2017 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 473 IPC and Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act, at Police Station Barnala, District Barnala.
Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated November 27, 2017, petitioners have joined investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the above, order dated November 27, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
