(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), 2023 seeking direction to the official respondents to ensure a fair and impartial investigation in case bearing FIR No.101 dated 05.06.2024 under Sections 323, 452, 506, 148, 149 IPC registered at Police Station Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is complainant in the aforesaid FIR. It is further contended that no investigation is being carried out in the said FIR and rather, three enquiries have been conducted which are contrary to each other.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State states that cancellation report in the present case has been prepared which is likely to be filed in near future.

In view of statement made on behalf of learned counsel for the State, let cancellation report under Section 173 Cr.P.C./ Section 193 of BNSS, 2023 be filed within a period of 03 weeks from the receipt of certified copy of the order and the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take legal remedies in accordance with law.
