The petitioner is alleged to be an associate with the finance company, which has misappropriated the deposits received from the complainant and others. The allegation against the petitioner is that he had signed the FDRs, which were issued to the complainant. He has been in custody since 6.9.2014. Challan has already been presented. Trial is likely to take a long time. It will be a debatable issue whether the petitioner had signed the FDRs as owner/ Director of the finance company or merely as an employee. It appears that the petitioner had been working for the owners and proprietor of the finance company. Taking into consideration the period of detention suffered by the petitioner, without expression of any opinion on merits of the case, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court.
